Announcing IRON CODER

image

The lights are low, and anticipation runs high. What will the closing event of this years Madison Ruby be? What could possibly remain after what has surely been two of the better days of your life? Join me on a brief journey, if you will, dear reader.

We enter a room, let us call it Ruby Stadium. Faintly, you see the outlines of four figures, looming imposingly, godlike in stature. Suddenly, a newcomer emerges. They sport the confidence of one who has been cultivating their neckbeard for many moons, and have the poise of a debutante. With scarcely a moment to recover from this majestic presence, the three aforementioned figures come into focus. Egads! It’s Bryan “Test All The Fucking Time” Liles, Kerri “All killer, no filler” Miller, Corey “Generally Friendly” Haines,  and Steve “Meet me after the drinkup for your complimentary skrillex haircut” Klabnik! And what’s this? They’re wearing chefs coats! A tad uncharacteristic, but perhaps it heralds the arrival of the First Annual IRON CODER.

And today, our secret ingredient is [XXXXX] (a secret, duh).

And this majestic newcomer? The Challenger. Where have we found this prodigal child? Well, that’s where you come in. If you’ve the CHUTZPAH (and would like a chance to win back the cost of your Madison Ruby ticket), STEP INTO THE RING (mixed metaphors are the best metaphors) by filling out the form below!

The Challenger will be announced Friday, August 23, during Madison Ruby.  At that time the Challenger will select their competing Iron Coder.  The Iron Coder competition will officially take place on Saturday, August 24.

As for me? I am your humble chairman, Robert Pitts, and I welcome you.

Allez Ruby!
